Benchmarking Your Business Continuity Planning
(BCP) Program |
Description: |
Many organizations need to know how their business continuity planning program
compares to others. Is their program complete, should they be doing more in the planning or are we on par with
others? The program is a discussion of 16 benchmark points that any business can use to evaluate their business
continuity planning program.
During the program presentation participants use a special scoring system for each of the 16 benchmark issues.
When they have completed the program they total the points and know specifically how their BCP program aligns to
other organizations. They will also know what area's of their BCP needs support or requires changes.

Planning (BCP) Development |
Description: |
Many organizations need to know what is needed to complete their business
continuity planning program before the get started. What will it take to develop a complete program? Knowledge
on the entire process helps you focus key issues first and then you can decide on when you need to develop the
additional important components of a BCP. This discussion of 14 BCP Core Actions will allow you to evaluate tasks
in development of a solid business continuity planning program. |

Chapter Risk Management Program |
Description: |
Three programs over three separate sessions:
Session A - Is the BCP Introduction and Training
Held in two consecutive days, two to three hours each day, meeting as a chapter or group
Session B - Follow-up and Progress Analysis
Held on one day three to four weeks after Session A, two to three hours of discussion on issues and questions ,meeting
as a chapter or group
Session C - Group EOC Management and a Testing Protocol
Held on one day three to four weeks after Session B, two to three hours of discussion on EOC Management and a tabletop
testing of a BCP, meeting as a chapter or group

We focus on:
- Security
- Business Continuity and
- Safety
We offer this as a proactive program with defined results (a solid risk
management plan) for a fixed price of $750 and we conduct these for any chapter of credit unions in a common geographical
area.
We would need a commitment of 10 credit unions or more for each session
- Each credit union would get a BCP Red Kit which is a collection disaster
response tools needed to respond to disaster.
- Free 1-2-3/ABC BCP Software
- A cooperative analysis of risk issues
- A cooperative analysis of security issues
- The assumption is that they could either COOP on each other CU site for
recovery or develop their own
- The response resources would be shared for vendors, relocation, transportation,
communications, restoration etc.
Most of our clients are reporting that this program can be installed in
less than 20 hours of their time.
