I wrote chapter II as a tutorial that first teaches how to google or search the internet for the latest RM methods and controls and than I cataloged my favorite research sites. I also posted risk specific white papers, credit union trade association links, and hotlinks to sites used by credit union internal auditors around the world.  For example, one of the better research sights I've found for researching international scams, identity theft, money laundering schemes, etc. is... www.fraudwatchinternational.com We used this sight during our training. I also created a a library of power point presentations the UK Risk Managers can customize to fit their audience. 

If I have one major concern with the RM projects in the UK it's that there is a fear of using the internet. That is why I've introduced them to creating on-line surveys and doing reverse transaction tracing. I also introduced them to www.surveymonkey.com and helped Steve open an account. For the time being I've given access to my account so we can work together to edit the UK data sheets and RM surveys.

Process improvements in RM Research and Development:  I recommend we make a quantum shift to electronic data processing of our own records to include conducting RM research. This will position CUNA Mutual underwriters, claims personnel, and Risk Managers anywhere in the world to benefit for survey results and research. I recommend all CMG personnel be surveyed to identify web sites and links they have found useful. I suspect Ann Davidson has many she uses to learn the latest plastic card security feature. There is no reason our frontline Risk Managers can't do their own R&D, create their own power points, etc.
