Lucy Harr |
Lucy Harr is a partner of Fourth Lake Communications, LLP, a firm specializing in credit union
communications, including easy-to-use guides and two books commissioned by CUNA Mutual Group. She has also written
or co-written five other books. Topics include retirement planning, community credit unions, credit union management,
lending, technology for smaller credit unions, mortgages, and select employee groups. She is currently working
on a book on golf for executive women with PGA/LPGA Professional Becky Dengler.
Harr is also the owner of Providing Solutions, a communications consulting firm that offers writing and editing,
public relations consulting, special event and conference planning services as well as facilitation of strategic
planning sessions.
Previously, Harr served in various executive positions at the Credit Union National Association including Senior
Vice President, Credit Union Development, Vice President, Public Relations and Senior Public Relations Officer.
Harr holds bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
She is the Immediate Past Chair of the National Board of The Association for Women in Communications and is past
president of the Respite Center, a Dane County United Way agency. She serves on the board of directors for Family
Centers, Inc. Harr also is a volunteer official for the University of Wisconsin Track and Field program and the
Mad-City Marathon, and is a Category 3 Official for USA Triathlon. |
