September 20, 2004 (24 hours)
- Completed a 24 hour course on Disaster Recovery,
Contingency Planning, Fraud and Scams. |

July 2004 (32
hour equivalent): Received
my Homeland Security CHS-III certification for Emergency
Management/Preparedness, First Responders & Law
Enforcement. This certification has a focus on fraud and
dishonesty as it relates to the Incident Command System
(ICS). |

May 18 through
21, 2004 (28 hours): I
volunteered my time and attended the 9th Annual Coastal
Empire Alliance Against Fraud Seminar in Jacksonville
Florida. This seminar focused on fraud, scams,
forgeries, wire transfer fraud, money laundering,
embezzlement, etc. It was a four day seminar at which I
presented 5 hours on detecting and discouraging internal
dishonesty. |

February 5,
2004 (24 hours): Completed
course in Disaster Planning offered to first responders
in Madison, Wisconsin. |

December 1-3,
2004 (24 hours):
Received certificate of achievement having completed the
basic incident command system (ICS) train-the trainer
course offered for emergency government personnel by the
State of Wisconsin. This provided me with the basics for
teaching the Incident Command System. |

September 2003
(15 hours): Received my
Certification in Homeland Security - Level III from the
American College of Forensic Examiners International.

December 2003
(50+ volunteer hours) :
Received Certificate of Appreciation for volunteer hours
serving as Chapter Chairman for ASIS Madison WI.
Chapter. I also served as the vice chair for 02 and the
Law Enforcement Liaison for 01, 03, 04, and 05. Also
attended re-certification classes at annual meetings
each year. |

2003 (40 hours) Certificate
of Completion from the "Domestic Preparedness and
Disaster & Contingency Planning" Course offered for law
enforcement by Midwest Patrol and Investigative LLC.

(24 hours): Attended a two
day workshop on physical security and received this
certificate of completion. |

I published a
number of local articles and conducted Incident Command
System training in Door County through the Door County
Advocate during Katrina and Rita. I also conducted
training for the VFW Post 8337 in Liberty Grove, WI.

During Hurricane
Ivan, Katrina, and Rita I posted a Virtual Incident
Command System (ICS) and systematically issued online
ICS training to include reporting instructions for First
Responders, Directions for Victims, and Instructions for
Evacuees:

systematically distributed to incident commanders
throughout the gulf and the Caribbean as well as to
emergency government, law enforcement, and
municipalities in select Wisconsin counties. |

A word of thanks for your generous assistance with
member concerns during the crisis caused by
hurricanes Katrina and Wilma this season. Your
immediate response and extensive knowledge offered
the guidance our community needed to make effective
contributions to those in need – without getting in
the way.
